This girl worked in a coffee shop for most of her high school life which gave me the opportunity to experiment. I loved making new “Coffee or Brew of the Day” recipes for my boss. It was such a fun experience and one that has carried with me through my adult life!
Here at Aramére Life, we are sharing our new experiences, but also, our tried and true experiences with you. My sister is a mom of two, and me, I am a corporate senior leader. Needless to say, we lead very different lives, but coffee is both of our life’s blood. Without it, nobody is having a good day…mostly us.
We are trying our hardest to get you our quick and easy at home cafe recipes posted, but in the meantime, here is a round-up of our favorites we posted right away! Make sure that you check out the links below to get the full story and articles behind each brew. Enjoy!
Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso~Starbucks Copycat

Ingredients:
- 2 Nespresso Pods (can substitute 2 tbsp. instant espresso Cafe Bustelo)
- 1 Tablespoon of Light Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Regular Coffee
- 1 cup of Ice
- 1 Tablespoons of Oak Milk
Directions:
- Place 1 tablespoon of light brown sugar into your selected cup.
- Begin to load your machine with one pod and select a normal espresso serving size.
- Position the cup with brown sugar under the machine and dispense your two espresso pods. It is critical that you use hot espresso to melt the brown sugar (Starbucks uses a syrup, and we are using the natural sugar).
- Once that is done, take a spoon and stir the espresso and brown sugar until it is completely melted and slightly foaming.
- Then add your 1 cup of ice into the glass and stir that with the spoon vigorously.
- Add in the remaining coffee and extra ice depending on how much the ice has melted.
- Lastly, add in the oat milk, stir one more time and enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee or espresso
- 2 tablespoons regular sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Ice and your favorite milk (I prefer oatmilk or almond milk)
Directions:
- In a small mixing bowl, add the sugar and espresso, then add the hot water. Mix until fluffy with either a stand mixer, a hand mixer, or a regular whisk…although, I do not recommend the last because it will take you way longer and give your arm a serious workout.
- Once the coffee mixture is whipped to your liking, grab a clear glass and put in your ice and your milk while leaving about an inch and a half to the top for your whipped topping. Now, I tried the whipped coffee by itself, and I loved the bitter yet sweet flavor of it, but if you are not into strong coffee, I do not recommend doing this.
- Spoon your whipped coffee onto the top of the milk with again about an inch and a half of the topping.
- This is important. Take your photos first before drinking because what you do now, is mix the drink thoroughly to incorporate the milk and the whipped topping. I was slightly disappointed in this because you really don’t get the texture of the whipped coffee once you mix it together, but if you do not mix it together, you will be drinking either milk or whipped coffee separately.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup ice
- 1 1/2 cup oat milk (or milk of choice)
- Dairy Free Whipped Cream
Directions:
- Place ingredients in blender of choice.
- Blend for 30 seconds.
- Top with some whip cream!
- Enjoy 🙂

Ingredients:
- 2 Nespresso Pods (can substitute 2 tbsp. instant espresso Cafe Bustelo)
- 1 Tablespoon of Light Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Regular Coffee
- 1 cup of Ice
- ½ cup Oatmilk
- 1 Tablespoon pumpkin puree
- 1 Teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice Seasoning
Directions:
- Fill your desired cup with ice. I used crushed ice, but regular ice is just fine too.
- Brew the nespresso pods separate in the machine and set aside so it can cool slightly.
- If you like your coffee on the sweeter side, now would be the time to add that to your nespresso coffee; just remember that does add calories to the total amount per serving.
- In your nutribullet or other blending device, add the remainder of the ingredients except any coffee.
- Blend on high for about 2 minutes or until the mixture begins to fluff-up to your desired consistency. Now, if you are OK with hadded calories and dairy products, you can substitute the Oatmild for heavy cream, and that will give you the Starbucks texture, but again, it is higher in caloric intake.
- Last, pour the espresso into the cup of ice, add the desired amount of coffee you want in addition, but leave about 1 inch at the top to place the foam.
- Pour the foam on top of the coffee and enjoy!!! I like to drink mine not mixed, but you can go ahead and mix everything together.
