We could all use a reminder to share kindness with those around us. My tween could maybe use more reminders recently. Random acts of kindness bingo is a fun way for her to accomplish this, without me doing the reminding.

At the beginning of every summer we are all excited, positive and happy to be together as a family. This usually is not a sustained feeling. The kids end up fighting. No one wants to help or do chores. By the end of the summer I find myself counting down the days until they go back to school, so that my home can be peaceful again. That’s around the time I pull out the BINGO.
Once everyone has done a few things on the chart, we are all reminded of how good a little kindness feels. The peace is restored. I like to establish a reward for when they achieve BINGO. Sometimes it’s that I will do a chore for them. We have chosen a family adventure once everyone reaches their goal, this is my kids favorite reward.
No matter what the reward, even if it’s just getting to chose the movie. This fun family activity is sure to bring everyone together.
