Finding a good dressing recipe on the keto diet can be a challenge. If you are like me, you get tired of the vinegar and oil to dress those two times a day greens. This recipe is low carb and no sugar, and it sure to be a family favorite.

Most people do not realize that ranch seasoning has no calories, no carbs, and no sugars. It gets a bad name because of the things we are going to add to it in this recipe. Original ranch seasoning though, can be made to be healthy as a dressing, but it all depends on what you add to it.
When starting this keto experience for my husband’s benefit, it was hard. It is so difficult to find things that are healthy and sustainable. Honestly, I do not know how this is a long term diet for people because it takes commitment and a lot of creativity.
This spicy ranch dressing is easy, and moderately healthy from a keto diet standard. Now, I would not eat it on a regular basis, but it is good. It can also be used as a dipping sauce which I use this recipe with my keto chicken nugget recipe.
Last thought before diving into the recipe is that you should have ranch seasoning in your home. It is so versatile that I find my uses for it in recipes. Again, it is also a healthy seasoning to use if you do not add mayo and sour cream 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tsp. habanero sauce
- 2 tbs. ranch seasoning
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- salt & pepper
Directions:
Mix everything together in a small bowl and keep it chilled until you are ready to use it. I personally make extra so that my husband can have it for multiple days with his salad, and now we also use it for anything else keto that needs a dipping sauce. Enjoy!
