Sometimes you just need that easy midnight snack. This instant Ramen recipe is easy and does just the trick!

If you have insomnia and get hungry around midnight like I do, this is a hack for you. Your pantry will not always have that one snack that you crave, and your fridge might have meal prep for the week, but nothing to quench your craving in the moment. Since my sister moved to Florida with the kiddos, I always keep my pantry stocked with child friendly and easy options for when they visit.
Ramen just happens to be one of them! Little Lou loves his Ramen, so that is what I keep in my pantry stocked. By the way, I also forgot how quick and easy it is for adults too. The biggest problem I have run into is the grown-up version with more flavor and spice. So let’s satisfy that craving fix and amp-up your Ramen game!
Ingredients:
- 1 pack ramen of your choice (I use either beef or soy–Lou Lou’s favorites)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 bouillon cube (I used beef)
- 1 tsp hoisin sauce or brown sugar
- 2 tsp Sriracha to start
- 1 tsp dried scallions
- Everything Bagel Seasoning
Directions:
For this adult version of instant ramen, I wanted more broth to my noodle ratio, so I added more water to the pot and brought it to a boil. While the water begins to boil, go ahead and add everything except the everything bagel seasoning to the water including the spice packet it came with in the package. The reason you want to do this is because you want everything boiling so the noodles cook.
Add the noodles and boil until they are soft or to your liking. I let it set for a moment and tasted it. Once it is in a bowl, top it with more Sriracha and Everything Bagel Seasoning and enjoy!
