Ugh…care tasks. I just recently heard my daily grind as a SAHM referred to in this way. It was a lightbulb moment for me. Yes! I do have endless care tasks. My fulltime job is absolutely to perform small and large tasks on repeat daily to care for my kids. Yes! It is absolutely exhausting.
Shakes have become a go to meal or snack on the run. It allows me to feed my body quickly and on the go, when I would otherwise make a not so great food choice in a drive though. Whether I make it for breakfast or for an afternoon snack I’m always pleasantly surprised by this delicious shake!
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup ice
- 1 1/2 cup oat milk (or milk of choice)
- Dairy Free Whipped Cream
- Place ingredients in blender of choice.
- Blend for 30 seconds.
- Top with some whip cream!
- Enjoy 🙂
This recipe is really a guide line to making the perfect shake for your preferences. Stick with the measurements and substitute to your hearts desire. I have made this with hemp seeds or flax. I have made it with almond butter or Greek yogurt. I have made it with water or whole milk. All were amazing 🙂
